i had my one year doctor's visit yesterday. she said i was doing great. actually she said i was perfect....mom agrees. i weigh 22.2 pounds (50th%) and i am 31 and (almost) 3/4 inches long (75th %). she said i am very advanced in my motor skills and right on track with my verbal skills.
i had to get two shots and i did cry but mom said i was a good boy and very brave. i also had to get my toe pricked to check my iron because it was a little low at my 9 month appointment. but now it is back in normal range so that is a good thing.
i will soon be able to face forward in my car seat. well, i actually am allowed to right now but mom is going to wait another month or so. she said i can eat pretty much anything i want now (with a few restrictions). i just have to start trying more things. mom offers me a lot of food but many times i shake my head "no" and push it away. i need to venture out some more. i usually like what i do end up tasting. mom and dad keep telling me that i will like things...maybe i should listen to them.
